In 1985, polio paralyzed hundreds of thousands of children every year. Rotary launched Polio Plus, one of the most ambitious health campaigns in human history.
Today, polio cases have been reduced by more than 99.9%. This miracle happened because 1.4 million Rotarians, in clubs exactly like the one being built in Pageland, said enough and got to work.
